Introduction
March 9-10, 2007
An overnight Franciscan Spirituality retreat at Covenant Baptist Church, San Antonio, Texas USA; we participated in fixed-hour prayer (vespers, compline, lauds (5am!) and terce) with antiphonal readings, 'new' canticles, bits of silence, discussions about Francis of Assisi (history, values, orders and rule of life), attempts to write one's own rule of life, morning yoga, prayer walk, breakfast, fellowship, rest and a little work on the church grounds as well.
