I know it probably sounds strange, but I’ve ditched all of my nicer, larger, more expensive watercolor sets in favor of that little travel set I blog about. I have three of them now; one stays permanently in my computer bag, and another lives in my gap backpack, and the other is on my desk. Wait, maybe I have four.
And of course, you can buy replacement pans of color when you run out or want to change your travel kit to a non-default hue :) I recently found out you can simply express liquid water color from tubes and let them dry into the pans as well!
