M Toy emailed me today to ask some good questions about this post. which leads me to comment to my own post: i presuppose Hans here is referring to God-revealed new horizons, rather than an insatiable quest for "shiny" new-ness and The Next New Thing. I was thinking abrahamic rather than pee wee's playhouse.
