this is my shameless plug for the best week you'll spend with your family.
here's some photos of amy and the kids in action at LLFC (family camp) last week up at laity lodge. my work schedule only allowed me to be there for half the time, so i'm not in any photos of consequence.
what a time. archery. riflery. arts & crafts. high-element swings. square dancing. field games. three-legged races. round-up. rodeo. blue hole. a date night for the parents. and seriously, the most amazing food any camp has ever served. food to write home about. out of this world food. hiking. mountain biking. kate got to go horeseback riding. jordan became a connoisseur of the water slide. i zip-lined into the river. amy climbed up to the top of the alpine tower. abigail shot a .22 at about 60 yards' range and did pretty respectibly. emma made a birdhouse and had a blast jumping and sliding in one of those huge inflatables. i got to walk the property of the forthcoming permanent facility with family camp director john hill pointing out what's coming over the next few years. it's going to be amazing. did i mention there's going to be a coffee bar? and that it overlooks echo bluff and is just a few hundred yards from blue hole?
can't wait for more family camp adventures. hope to see you and yours there as well.
video grabbed by holding the laptop up. so it's cro-magnon.
i really don't like the new iMovie for editing either. music by cowboy junkies.
