in no particular order:
1. tomorrow i fly to dallas for a client's photographic casting session. having models parade in front of you all day is not glamorous as one might think. it's more akin to going to a feedlot to pick out sides of beef. but then you have to comment on the beef in front of the beef. and the beef can hear and have feelings. casting for mutiple ethnicities. wide-ranging ages, heights, weights, and types. the upsides are meeting some really neat people who inevitably have a great story to tell, and hanging out with some friends during the cattle call
2. i made my first piece of jewelry this weekend. inspired by michael howes, i picked up some stone beads in a local rock shop, and strung together my first creation. i'll take a photo of it soon. i didn't tie off every single stone (because I didn't have 5 or 6 hours). but anyway it looks nice. maybe i can be as hip as brother cleve :)
3. the new issue of HOW (a design magazine you can probably get at Borders or B&N) has some good articles in it, and some really good design work. I'll be reading it on the flight.
4. I can't find my Alternative Worship CD in the back of my Jonny Baker book. Gone. Before I offloaded. I DID buy the book. Anyone can burn me a dupe? Or something? Jonny, are you reading this? :)
5. Betsy Mitchell-Henning rocks. She knitted baby Emma three wintery hats (caps?) that will last well into next winter, but fit her even now. Stretchy yarn = good. I'll take photos of Emma in knitted bliss. Even Texans need warm ears. Thanks, Bets.
6. I have much to do before I leave for the airport at 5:50am.
peace like a river.
