Going to New Mexico for a week.

Destination: The Coe Ranch.

The Coe was established by Wilbur Coe in 1871 on the Rio Ruidoso and was the ranch Billy The Kid worked during the famous Lincoln County War. There are several books at the ranch house documenting the history of the ranch and its surroundings, so I might be able to tell you more, soon. We will be about 25 miles east on US 70 from Ruidoso and about 35 miles from the ski slopes.

We’ll also hopefully experience day trips to Three Rivers Petroglyph Site, Ruidoso, and Cloudcroft, NM, and of course, to ski and/or snowboard.

Hope to go to Carlsbad on the way there.

oh, i heart cloudcroft. you should stop at white sands if you have a chance. we brought our snow discs and sledded for hours!
